Welcome Reception – Wednesday, 24 March 2010

The Welcome Reception will be held at Duxford Air Museum. During WWII Duxford was one of the most important air bases in Britain and planes flying from here played a major role in the Battle of Britain. Today Duxford houses the largest collection of historic aircraft in Europe, ranging from WWI vintage biplanes to Spitfires, Concorde, and Gulf War jets.

The event kicks off with welcome drinks and an air display* followed on by a sponsored evening satellite meeting hosted by Forth Medical (further details will be emailed to delegates nearer the date).

Delegates will then have the opportunity to relax and have a drink or two while dining under the wings of Concorde and socialising with friends and colleagues.

What better way to finish off the first day of the Spring meeting?

The event is free to all delegates and is included in your delegate fee.

Gala Dinner – Thursday, 25 March 2010

The Gala Dinner will be held at King's College, which was founded in 1441 by Henry VI (1421-71) and is situated on the banks of the River Cam in picturesque suroundings.  Delegates will have a unique dining experience; delicious food and excellent wine while listening to the world famous Kings Choral Scholars.  The bar, within the dining hall, will remain open till 1 pm so there will be plenty of time to socialise after the meal before strolling back to your accommodation.

All delegates, partners and sponsors are welcome to attend.

The event is not included in your delegate fee and tickets must be purchased in advance (£85 per person)

Dress code – Black Tie

Partners’ Programme
An official partner’s programme has not been arranged but please do not let that stop you bringing your partner – it is always nice to meet your partners and there is plenty to see and do in the historic and picturesque town of Cambridge.  The SBNS Administrators would be only too happy to offer further information.

If you have any queries on any of the above events please do not hesitate to contact:
